PaxExact

Platform

One estimating platform, assembled around your operation

PaxExact starts as estimating software and stays useful as only that. Every other part of the platform is a module you add when it earns its place — and the systems you already run can stay exactly where they are.

Each module below shows the real maturity of what it contains, read straight from the capability matrix. A module is never labelled more mature than the least mature capability inside it.

The through-line

What the platform is built around

Whatever modules you run, the same spine holds: evidence at the bottom, a defensible case file at the top, and an approval step no automation can skip.

  1. Step 1

    Capture the evidence

Photos and measurements tied to the loss, not a free-text description of it.

  2. Step 2

    Structure the scope

Damage observations and line items stay linked to the evidence that supports them.

  3. Step 3

    Human review, every time

Nothing advances to a priced estimate without an adjuster's approval.

  4. Step 4

    Price against a managed registry

Pricing data carries its own source and confidence — never a single unexplained number.

  5. Step 5

    Produce a defensible case file

One output that carries the evidence, the scope, and the pricing together.

The base

PaxExact Estimate

Professional property-loss estimating.

PaxExact Estimate

LIVE

The entry product. Rooms, line items, quantities and units, server-computed totals, revisions and a reviewable estimate — the job estimating software already has to do, with every number traceable to its source.

Typically the whole of it for: Anyone who already needs estimating software.

PaxExact Estimate →

The modules

Add only what pays for itself

Nothing here is bundled into a tier you have to buy around. Each module is added on its own, and each shows how much of it is in production today.

Claim Adjustment

PLANNED

The estimate becomes part of the claim.

Evidence-linked scope, the professional approval gate, revision history, a case file and a defensible record — for estimates that will be examined by a carrier, an appraiser or a court.

Usually added by: Public adjusters; Roofing and restoration contractors working insurance claims; Claim-oriented estimating organizations.

Capabilities inside: 2 live, 2 beta, 1 coming soon, 1 planned.

Claim Adjustment →

Commercial Claims

COMING SOON

Coverage records, co-insurance and business income.

Commercial coverage records on the estimate and co-insurance calculations with readiness checks, in beta, each accepted or overridden with a documented reason. A business-income calculation is coming soon: built in the platform, not yet usable from the application.

Requires Claim Adjustment.

Usually added by: Public adjusters and estimators handling commercial losses.

Capabilities inside: 1 beta, 1 coming soon.

Commercial →

Contents

PLANNED

Room-by-room contents inventory and valuation.

Contents itemization by room, coming soon (the platform stores items, but there is no entry screen yet); replacement-cost and actual-cash-value valuation with documented depreciation when it ships.

Requires Claim Adjustment.

Usually added by: Public adjusters; Contents specialists.

Capabilities inside: 1 coming soon, 1 planned.

Contents →

LiDAR & Advanced Capture

PLANNED

Spatial capture that becomes measurements and evidence.

In beta: a LiDAR room scan made in another app (an Apple RoomPlan JSON export, or a USDZ file with a text (.usda) layer) can be uploaded to a room on a case, and PaxExact proposes dimensions from it for a reviewer to accept. Planned, not built: a native mobile capture app with built-in LiDAR scanning and video. Optional by design — estimators who prefer manual measurement lose nothing.

Usually added by: Field estimators; Estimating companies; Anyone measuring many properties.

Capabilities inside: 1 beta, 2 coming soon, 1 planned.

LiDAR Capture →

AI & Pricing Intelligence

COMING SOON

Source-tracked prices and AI-assisted scope.

Unit prices that carry their source, date and confidence; suggestions drawn from your organization's own observed prices; and suggested line items from accepted damage observations (in beta) — always behind human review, never applied on their own.

Usually added by: Estimating companies; High-volume estimators.

Capabilities inside: 1 beta, 2 coming soon.

AI / Pricing →

Integrations & API

PLANNED

Keep the systems you already run.

A scoped REST API, in beta, with organization keys issued by arrangement rather than self-serve. Webhooks, import/export and connectors for CRMs and claim systems — a Salesforce connector among them — are on the roadmap. Designed so PaxExact can fit into an existing operation instead of replacing it; no connector is built yet.

Usually added by: Firms with an existing CRM or claim platform; Estimating companies.

Capabilities inside: 2 beta, 5 planned.

Integrations →

PaxExact Back Office

PLANNED

The operating platform, if you don't have one.

Planned: intake, client and property records, assignments, communications, reporting and organization controls, for firms that want PaxExact to be the system of record rather than a tool bolted onto one. Not yet available as a PaxExact module.

Usually added by: Firms without a back-office platform; Growing public-adjusting practices.

Capabilities inside: 1 coming soon, 3 planned.

Back Office →

Client Portal

COMING SOON

Claim and estimate status your clients can see.

Coming soon: a client-facing layer for status, messages and document exchange on the cases you choose to share. The portal runs in production today for one internal operation, not yet as a module other organizations can turn on: per-organization branding is built, but the portal does not yet read PaxExact cases.

Usually added by: Public adjusters; Restoration contractors managing many homeowners.

Capabilities inside: 1 coming soon.

Client Portal →

Agreements & E-signature

COMING SOON

Client agreements signed and filed on the case.

A separately branded add-on for client agreements and electronic signature, integrated with the case file. Name to be announced.

Usually added by: Public adjusters; Contractors who sign work authorizations.

Capabilities inside: 1 coming soon.

Typical configurations

How different operations tend to assemble it

These are starting points, not tiers. Nothing here is a package you have to take whole.

Public adjuster

Estimate the loss, then defend it.

The estimate is only half the job; the claim file, approvals, commercial calculations and contents are the other half.

Starts with: Estimate, Claim Adjustment, Commercial, Contents.

Often added later: LiDAR Capture, Back Office, Client Portal, Agreements.

Public adjuster →

Roofing / restoration contractor working insurance claims

Estimates that hold up when the carrier reviews them.

Insurance work needs evidence-linked scope and a defensible record; the CRM you already run stays where it is.

Starts with: Estimate, Claim Adjustment.

Often added later: LiDAR Capture, Integrations, Agreements.

Roofing / restoration contractor working insurance claims →

General contractor

Estimating software first. Nothing you don't need.

Most contractors need a strong estimating product and a way to connect it to their existing systems — not claim-adjusting workflow.

Starts with: Estimate.

Often added later: LiDAR Capture, Integrations.

General contractor →

Estimating company

Volume, consistency and provenance.

High-volume estimating benefits most from capture automation, source-tracked pricing and an API into the systems that dispatch the work.

Starts with: Estimate, LiDAR Capture, AI / Pricing, Integrations.

Often added later: Claim Adjustment.

Estimating company →

Firm already running Salesforce or another CRM

Integrate PaxExact. Keep your platform.

PaxExact modules connect to the system of record you already have; nothing has to be replaced.

Starts with: Estimate, Integrations.

Often added later: Claim Adjustment, LiDAR Capture, AI / Pricing.

Firm without a back-office platform

Run the whole workflow inside PaxExact.

Intake, records, assignments, communications and a client portal — PaxExact becomes the operating platform.

Starts with: Estimate, Claim Adjustment, Back Office, Client Portal.

Often added later: Commercial, Contents, LiDAR Capture, Agreements.

Pricing

What we can say about price today

Module pricing is not published yet. PaxExact is in early access, and publishing a price list before the modules behind it are generally available would misrepresent what a buyer is actually getting. Early-access terms are arranged directly.
